The vestiges of St Avit Church: This rural church served local inhabitants dispersed all over the countryside, it is situated by a spring noted for its healing properties.
Built in the XIIth century it was close to a major road junction. Certain stones found around the building sugest that this edifice dates from the Merovingian period.
